2026国际环境科学论坛是一场高水平国际学术盛会，汇聚全球知名科学家、青年研究人员和产业界代表，共同探讨气候变化与变率的成因、影响及解决方案。
本次为期两天的会议将紧密结合IOP 出版社环境研究系列期刊，包括Environmental Research Letters和Environmental Research: Climate，重点关注塑造地球气候的物理和生物地球化学过程、影响气候风险与影响的人类及生态因素，以及气候减缓、适应和风险管理策略的设计与评估。
会议将成为国际前沿思想和科研成果交流的平台，展示气候科学与环境研究领域的最新进展。重点议题涵盖气候阈值与极端事件、减缓路径、环境变化与自然资源，以及数据驱动和计算气候科学等方向。
The Environmental Research 2026 will be a premier, high-level event that brings together renowned scientists, young researchers, and industry leaders to explore climate variability and change: environmental causes, consequences and solutions.
Aligned with the IOP Publishing Environmental Research journal series, including Environmental Research Letters and Environmental Research: Climate, this two-day symposium will focus on the physical and biogeochemical processes shaping Earth’s climate, the human and ecological factors driving climate risks and impacts, and the design and assessment of climate mitigation, adaptation and risk management strategies.
The conference will serve as a global platform for the exchange of ideas and cutting-edge research, showcasing the latest advances in climate science and environmental research. Key themes will include climate thresholds and extremes, mitigation pathways, environmental change and natural resources, and computational and data-driven climate science.

会议科学计划主要包括以下核心领域：
- 环境阈值、极端事件及归因研究：重点关注关键气候阈值、突破1.5°C目标的风险、全球临界点连锁效应以及极端环境事件与人为气候变化之间的归因关系。
- 综合减缓路径：脱碳、碳移除与环境适应：聚焦清洁能源转型、碳移除技术以及应对气候变化影响的适应措施。
- 环境变化与自然系统及资源的未来：探讨气候变化对生态系统、生物多样性、水资源和粮食系统的影响。
- 计算与数据驱动气候科学：机器学习、气候模拟器以及数据驱动方法在气候预测和决策支持中的应用。
The scientific programme will center around the following core areas:
- Environmental thresholds, extremes, and attribution: Critical climate thresholds, the risks of overshooting 1.5°C, cascading tipping points, and attribution of extreme events to anthropogenic climate change.
- Integrated Mitigation Pathways: Decarbonization, Carbon Removal, and Environmental Adaptation：Pathways to limit future warming, including clean energy transition, carbon removal technologies and adaptation strategies.
- Environmental Change and the Future of Natural Systems and Resources：Impacts of climate change on ecosystems, biodiversity, water resources and food systems.
- Computational and Data-driven Climate Science：Machine learning, climate emulators and other computational approaches for climate modelling and prediction.

世界青年科学家峰会（简称：青科会）由中国科学技术协会和浙江省人民政府共同发起和主办，世界青年科学家联合会、浙江省科学技术协会和温州市人民政府承办，是面向全球高水平青年人才的年度盛会。以推动人类命运共同体建设为愿景，以“汇聚天下英才 共创美好未来”为主题。
2026年青科会拟于2026年10月在温州召开，将紧扣年度议题 “AI时代全球青年行动，构建可持续发展未来” ，重点关注人工智能与可持续发展、未来前沿科技、青年科学家成长生态及科技创新与产业创新深度融合等全球共性话题。本届峰会将进一步支持青年科学家在重大科技议题中挑大梁、当主角，推动科学家、企业家与创投机构深度协同，以人工智能等新兴技术赋能科研突破与产业革新，共建更具韧性的创新未来。

The World Youth Scientist Summit (WYSS) , jointly sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, with the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology and the Wenzhou Municipal People's Government as the organizers. It is an annual event aimed at high-level young talents from around the world. The vision is to promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, with the theme "Converging the World's Talents Creating a Better Future."
The 2026 WYSS will be held in Wenzhou in October 2026. It will be aligned with the annual theme of "Global Youth Action in the AI Era: Building a Sustainable Future" addressing such global issues as AI-driven sustainability, future frontier technologies, the ecosystem for young scientist development, and the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation. The Summit will further empower young scientists to play leading roles in major scientific and technological endeavors, promote deeper synergy among scientists, entrepreneurs, and venture capital institutions, and leverage emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence to drive scientific breakthroughs and industrial transformation, jointly building a more resilient and innovative future.
The "Environmental Research 2026" is one of the parallel forums of the 2026 WYSS. Recognizing that the future of science and technology is dependent on today’s youth, the World Association of Young Scientists and the Wenzhou Growth Foundation for World Young Scientists initiate the "2026 Young Scientist Sustainable Development Goals Award" ( 2026 Young Scientist SDGs Award). This award aims to inspire adherence to principles while fostering innovation and free exploration. The award also encourages young scientists to take on important roles that prepare them to lead the way toward our sustainable future. The award acknowledges the remarkable achievements made by young scientists who have made significant original innovations and breakthroughs in core technologies, contributing to sustainable development and advancing human civilization.Application Period: May 7 - July 31, 2026
