The 9th International Meeting on Magnetotactic Bacteria (MTB2026) will be held in Qingdao, China, scheduled from June 28 to July 2, 2026.

MTB2026 will focus on recent advances in magnetotactic bacteria research, covering a broad range of topics including, but not limited to: MTB-related ecology, evolution, molecular biology, geobiology and biogeomagnetism, as well as applications in materials science, biotechnology, and biomedicine. This meeting will provide a dynamic platform for researchers from around the world to present new discoveries, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations that advance the field.
