The 3rd International Symposium on Advances in Aerodynamics (SAIA 2026) will be held in Shanghai, China, from October 16 to October 19, 2026.
The theme of the symposium is AI for Aerodynamics. There will be 1 main venue and 5 parallel sessions. As a key international academic event focusing on the integration of aerodynamics and artificial intelligence, this symposium aims to gather distinguished scholars and researchers worldwide to facilitate technical exchanges and mutual learning, and drive innovative development of the discipline. Invited presentations and regular academic reports will be arranged around the theme.
We sincerely invite experts, scholars, and postgraduate students engaged in aerodynamics, artificial intelligence and related interdisciplinary fields to submit papers and participate in the symposium, so as to jointly promote the high-quality development of relevant disciplines.

Scope of Topics
Original research achievements on theories, computational methods, experiments and engineering practices of aerodynamics are welcome. The symposium focuses on in-depth integration between aerodynamics and artificial intelligence technologies including deep learning, reinforcement learning, large language models and intelligent agents, so as to advance interdisciplinary collaborative innovation. Relevant research areas include but are not limited to:
· AI-Enhanced Flow Mechanism and CFD
AI-based modeling of complex flow fields, turbulence characteristic analysis, flow control and multi-physics coupling simulation; research on improving flow field prediction accuracy and optimizing CFD simulation efficiency via AI, as well as AI-assisted verification and iteration of CFD models.

All submitted papers must be written in English. Both full papers and 1–2 page abstracts are acceptable. Authors should guarantee that there is no confidential information in the submissions and presentations.
Selected high-quality papers will be recommended to the journal Advances in Aerodynamics (indexed by EI, ESCI, Scopus, etc.). Upon passing peer review, they will be formally published.
