The 6th International Conference on Plant Metabolism (ICPM2026) will be held at the New Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum from November 21 to 25, 2026. Located in the heart of Science Park, Guangming District, Shenzhen, the museum covers a total floor area of approximately 128,300 square meters. Adopting the design concept of "Sci-Fi Ark", it features a perfect blend of architectural aesthetics and technological appeal. Since its opening in May 2025, it has won the Winner Award of World Architecture Community Awards and the Cultural Category Winner of BLT Built Design Awards. It has also been shortlisted for prestigious international accolades including the International Planning Awards, World Architecture News Awards and the 2026 Versailles Awards, demonstrating its outstanding influence in the field of global public and commercial architecture.

Situated at the core node of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, the venue is the world’s first large-scale public welfare science center themed on digital civilization with world-class standards. It houses 24 themed exhibition areas and 950 innovative exhibits, among which interactive experiences account for over 80%. Receiving more than 4 million visitors annually, it has established itself as a benchmark platform for global science and technology exhibition and popular science education. In addition, the museum is equipped with multiple lecture halls, multi-functional halls and popular science theatres. Boasting world-class conference facilities, professional event support services and a high-end sci-fi ambiance, it has successfully hosted a host of large-scale high-end events, including the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, the 2026 AI+ Ecology Conference, the 2025 Guangming Science City Forum, and the International Youth Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition.
