We are pleased to announce the 7th International Workshop on Rydberg Atoms and Molecules (IWRAM-7), to be held from April 11 to 15, 2025, in Wuhan, China.
In recent years, Rydberg atoms and molecules have emerged as important subjects in quantum physics and technology, showing significant advancements. Their unique properties - including large electron orbits, long lifetimes, and strong interactions - make them ideal for studying many-body physics, quantum computing, quantum optics, and precision metrology.
IWRAM-7 is part of an established annual workshop series that has been at the forefront of Rydberg research for nearly a decade. Following successful events in Changchun (2016), Taiyuan (2017), Shanghai (2018), Hangzhou (2019), Wuhan (2021), and Guangzhou (2023), this year's workshop continues to provide an important platform for the Rydberg community. The event aims to bring together researchers from around the globe to share cutting-edge findings and envision future directions in Rydberg atoms and molecules research. IWRAM-7 will feature approximately 30 invited talks, many contributed talks and posters, attracting more than 300 participants from the international Rydberg community.
The workshop will cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
• Rydberg interactions and many-body physics
• Quantum computation and simulation with Rydberg atoms
• Quantum information processing with tweezer arrays
• Rydberg molecules and ions
• Hybrid systems with Rydberg atoms
• High-precision metrology of microwave electric fields
• Rydberg nonlinear effects and quantum optics
• Rydberg spectroscopy
• Atomic and molecular dynamics in Rydberg atom systems
